A man found guilty of the premeditated murder of a woman and her two daughters in an emirate residential area was given the death penalty by the RAK Ras Al Khaimah Criminal Court.The accused, who was charged with premeditated murder, attempted murder, and death threats, was present when the verdict was handed down.
However, according to the laws currently in effect in the nation, this decision is not final until all phases of litigation before higher courts have been completed. In the same case, the court fined the defendant’s son Dhs 10,000 and sentenced him to prison for slander and threats. It also mandated the confiscation of a car and other seized evidence.
The incident began on May 7, 2025, when a mother, 66, and her two daughters, 36 and 38, were killed in a traffic altercation in Ras Al Khaimah. A third daughter, 47, was hurt but survived the attack. The victims’ relatives applauded the court’s ruling, claiming that it provided the victims with justice.
