The Dubai Supreme Council of Energy launched the 6th Emirates Energy Award (EEA) 2026-2028, which was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vise President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, with the theme “Innovating for Sustainable and Resilient Energy.”
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vise Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and Chairman of the Emirates Energy Award, made the news at the 12th edition of the World Green Economy Summit, held at the Dubai World Trade Center.
Al Tayer stated, “I am glad to announce the commencement of the sixth cycle of Emirates Energy Award 2026-2028, organised by Dubai Supreme Council of Energy under the theme “Innovating for Sustainable and Resilient Energy.” This new theme is consistent with the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheik Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vise President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to position the UAE as a global hub for innovation in the sustainable and resilient energy sectors.
The theme also underscores the Award’s objective of enhancing the sustainability and resilience of energy systems, while boosting their capability to address climate change, therefore supporting sustainable development and strengthening global energy security.
