Weather in the UAE: Persistent Fog Has Caused a Red Alert

Parts of the country are experiencing fog, prompting the issuance of red and yellow advisories. Some locations are under a red alert for fog with a decline in horizontal vision that could occasionally drop even lower. The notice is in effect from 6.25 am until 10.25 am on Saturday. A yellow notice has been issued in certain regions of the nation to warn of the possibility of fog formation and a decrease in visibility.

The weather will be fair overall and partly cloudy at times, according to the NCM forecast. By the afternoon, the clouds will move eastward. In the interior, temperatures can reach 36°C, while in the mountains, they can dip as low as 16°C. In the islands and coastal areas, humidity can reach 95%, but in the mountains, it can drop as low as 15%.

The country will get light to moderate winds. The weather will be humid at night and on Sunday morning, with fog or mist forming over certain interior and coastal regions. In the Oman waters and the Arabian Gulf, the waters will be shallow.
