In the presence of Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Judicial Council, members of the Judicial Council were received by Supreme Council Member and Sharjah Ruler His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi at the office of the Ruler of Sharjah on Thursday.
The Ruler of Sharjah greeted the participants at the start of the meeting and emphasized the value of the judiciary, the integration of its apparatuses, its significant role in the government system and the stability of society, the dissemination of justice, adherence to the tasks provided to them, and accomplishing the high standards of the law through implementation the good of the members of society and spreading tolerant values and virtue among people.
Sheikh Sultan emphasized the commitment to all judicial principles and values during the meeting. He reaffirmed the principle of the judiciary’s independence, which grants judges total autonomy over their duties except for the law and conscience. He also emphasized the importance of not interfering in the judiciary at the emirate level, except within the bounds permitted by the law.
