China and the UAE Look for Ways to improve Collaboration

During a working visit to the People’s Republic of China, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Chairman of Masdar, and Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC, met with top executives from prominent Chinese companies and senior Chinese government officials. The visit’s objectives were to deepen bilateral ties and increase collaboration in the fields of infrastructure, industry, renewable energy, and energy.
In the presence of Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, the UAE Ambassador to China, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber met with Liu Jianchao, the head of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (CPC) of China’s International Department, Lan Fo’an, China’s Finance Minister, and Zou Jiayi, the President of the AIIB.
The importance of launching new initiatives that support the development goals of both countries, with a focus on empowering domestic companies and improving collaboration between the public and private sectors, was emphasised by Dr. Al Jaber, who also reaffirmed the UAE’s unwavering commitment to strengthening and expanding the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with China in a way that supports mutual sustainable economic growth and prosperity.
