According to the airline’s most recent June 2025 traffic data, Etihad Airways is still experiencing rapid growth and great demand from passengers. June saw 1.8 million passengers on Etihad Airways, a 16% rise over the same month the previous year. The airline’s strategic development and dominant market position are shown by its steady growth.
As evidence of Etihad’s ongoing performance in maximising capacity while satisfying strong demand, the passenger load factor increased to 88 per cent from 86 per cent in June 2024. Etihad carried 10.2 million passengers in the first half of 2025, a 17 percent increase over the same time in 2024. So far this year, the average passenger load factor is an outstanding 87 percent.
We are happy to see continued momentum in our growth,” said Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways. “With passenger numbers in June rising by 17% year-over-year in the first half of the year, we continue to be the fastest-growing airline in the Middle East. As our customers continue to rely on our service, we have seen over 10 million passengers fly with us in 2025 thus far, and our rolling 12-month total has nearly reached 20 million.
