The 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), scheduled to take place in Istanbul, Turkey, from July 22 to 27, 2025, will feature a fully integrated national pavilion from the United Arab Emirates. The UAE’s sovereign ambition to create a state-of-the-art national defense industry headed by specialized institutions with the know-how to boost industrial capabilities is embodied in this participation.
The Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement (Tawazun), which plays a crucial role in assisting regional defence companies and boosting their competitiveness internationally, will be in charge of the national pavilion.
Leading national businesses in the technology and defense industries, such as EDGE Group, Calidus, and Capital Events, will be present at the UAE Pavilion. The latter will be presenting continuing preparations for the 2027 IDEX and NAVDEX exhibits.
Tawazun Industrial Park (TIP), which will emphasize its strategic growth plans targeted at creating an innovative and supportive industrial ecosystem, will also play a significant role. In order to strengthen the UAE’s standing as a major industrial center in the region, TIP will also showcase its skills as a national platform for luring high-tech industries and defense-related industrial investment.
