Mongolia and Ajman Talk About their Connections

Odonbaatar Shijeekhuu, Mongolia’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, was welcomed at the Emiri Court by Crown Prince Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, who also serves as the chairman of the Ajman Executive Council.

Sheikh Ammar greeted the Ambassador and went over the close links that exist between the two friendly nations and their respective populations in a number of areas. In order to serve shared interests and advance the prosperity of both countries, the conference also looked at measures to strengthen bilateral collaboration, especially in the areas of development.

Ambassador Shijeekhuu praised the Emirate of Ajman’s progress and development, particularly in the tourist and economic sectors, and sent his heartfelt gratitude and admiration to the Crown Prince for the cordial welcome and excellent hospitality.

As part of ongoing efforts to advance and deepen bilateral ties and accomplish the shared interests of the two peoples and nations, the UAE and Mongolia recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) pertaining to mutual visa exemption for holders of ordinary, diplomatic, special, and mission passports.

Under this memorandum, citizens of Mongolia who possess diplomatic, official, regular, and special passports are exempt from obtaining a visa to enter the United Arab Emirates, and citizens of the United Arab Emirates who possess regular, diplomatic, special, and mission passports are exempt from obtaining a visa to enter Mongolia and remain there for a maximum of 30 days per visit.
