
At the ministry’s headquarters in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, the deputy ruler of Sharjah and president of the University of Sharjah (UoS), met with Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, the country’s minister of higher education and scientific research, on Saturday.
The Supreme Council member and Sharjah ruler, His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, sent cordial congratulations to Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed. He took satisfaction in the close connections between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, particularly Sharjah. The Deputy Ruler of Sharjah emphasized how their fruitful research and educational partnership is advancing higher education in both nations, which benefits their citizens and communities.
The UoS is regarded as one of the best colleges in the Arab world, he emphasized. Given Egypt’s stellar educational record, it was decided to open this branch there initially.
Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed was cordially welcomed by Dr. Ashour, who also emphasized the close ties between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
He expressed Egypt’s desire to strengthen this ties by fostering greater cooperation between the two nations in research and education. Dr. Ashour emphasized the importance of encouraging academic and scientific cooperation between Egyptian and United Arab Emirates educational institutions.
