
The 21st Family Forum was organized by the Sharjah Police General Command’s Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department. Brigadier Abdullah Rashid Al Layy, Director of the Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department; Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of the General Department of Community Protection and Prevention; and a number of officials were present. The forum seeks to improve family relationships, aid offenders’ rehabilitation, and facilitate their successful reintegration back into society.
Thirteen prisoners were released by the forum following the payment of their outstanding balances in collaboration with the Faraj Fund. This is a component of a humanitarian effort to assist inmates with their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
The conference is a component of the Sharjah Police General Command’s strategy for fostering family relationships and attaining social harmony, Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Al Naour emphasized. He went on to say that reform efforts include social, psychological, and humanitarian facets in addition to legal ones.
Brigadier Abdullah Rashid Allay, who spoke at the forum, clarified that this program is a step in the right direction toward giving prisoners a fresh start. He emphasized how crucial it is to take advantage of this chance to improve the future and fortify social and familial ties.
