
The UAE’s delegation to the 88th GCC Health Ministers’ meeting, which Kuwait hosted, and the 11th meeting of Their Excellencies the Ministers of Health in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) was led by Ahmed Bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of Health and Prevention.
By developing collaborative workstreams and executing integrated projects, the UAE’s involvement aims to enhance Gulf health cooperation by improving the efficiency of member state health systems and fostering collaboration and coordination.
Ahmed Al Sayegh emphasized that the UAE’s involvement in these gatherings is in accordance with our astute leadership’s directions to advance the shared Gulf health agenda, enhance living standards, and elevate the caliber of healthcare services offered to GCC populations. Additionally, it shows a strong commitment to keep funding integrative projects in the Gulf to ensure more sustainable and effective health systems.
Al Sayegh went on to say: “The UAE places the highest priority on enhancing the health security of the GCC states by exchanging health data and knowledge and implementing disease-prevention programs. To keep pace with the rapid advancements in health innovation and cutting-edge medical technology, the UAE is committed to enhancing Gulf medical expertise.
