Dubai Founders HQ, a flagship initiative aimed at strengthening and consolidating Dubai’s startup and small and medium enterprise (SME) ecosystem, was launched Monday by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Executive Council of Dubai Chairman, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
Dubai Founders HQ is the first-of-its-kind ‘phygital’ platform, co-founded by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). It combines a vibrant physical campus with an extensive digital ecosystem. The program brings together corporates, investors, enablers, and founders in one location to foster cooperation, creativity, and company growth.
With over 25 prominent partners from the public and private sectors—including venture capital, financial services, government agencies, telecoms, and innovation hubs—the platform has already solidified its position as a key hub in Dubai’s innovation ecosystem.
Sheikh Hamdan stated during his Monday visit to Dubai Founders HQ, which is housed in the 25Hours Hotel at One Central, Dubai World Trade Centre, that the new campus will be crucial to bringing Dubai’s entrepreneurial ecosystem together and bolstering it. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the value of collaboration between the public and private sectors in order to enable the success of innovators and entrepreneurs.
