
Al Dhafra, Al Nouf, the Abu Dhabi–Al Dhafra Road, the Central Region, Huwailat, Al Manai, Wadi Al Ajili, Wadi Al Qour, Wadi Al Helo, Hatta and Masafi in the Eastern Region, and the Khorfakkan Road were among the places that had light to heavy rain on Monday.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology, an extension of a surface low-pressure system coupled with a low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere is predicted to bring more rain to the east and south of the country today.
Some coastal and interior regions may see humid conditions overnight and Wednesday morning, with the possibility of mild fog. There will be light to moderate winds coming from the southeast, which will turn northwest.
According to the NCM, Wednesday’s weather will be clear to partly overcast, with low clouds developing over parts of the east and south. In certain coastal and inland locations, it will be humid overnight and Thursday morning, with the potential for light fog to occur.
The winds will be light to moderate, with occasional gusts of up to 35 km/h, and will be southeasterly before shifting to the northwest. The Arabian Gulf will see moderate to medium waves, while the Sea of Oman will see light waves.
Clear to partly cloudy conditions are predicted on Thursday, with sporadic cloud cover in certain places. In certain coastal and interior locations, it will be humid at night and Friday morning, with the possibility of mild fog.
