From November 5 to 16, the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF), which has grown to be the biggest in the world and is considered a major event for literary enthusiasts worldwide, will also give attendees a unique chance to advance their professional and creative development through an incredible series of workshops that have been pre-booked.
Throughout the 12-day event, SIBF 2025 will give attendees a unique chance to learn from the world’s top experts, transforming a fair visit into an amazing educational experience. These workshops, which have limited space and are led by internationally recognized experts and renowned educators, are intended to inspire, educate, and empower visitors of all ages and interests.
Unleash Your Creative Writing Powers & Reflect on Your Heritage,” a highly intimate creative writing workshop, will be led by award-winning novelist Dr. Nguyn Phan Qu Mai. The goal of this three-day workshop (Friday, November 7 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM; Saturday, November 8 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM; and Sunday, November 9 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM) is to assist writers in drawing inspiration from their cultural heritage and personal history. They will use guided exercises and helpful criticism to find and polish genuine stories.
