The UAE’s Partnership-Driven Growth Model is Strengthened by Public-Private Dialogue

A high-level discussion between business and government executives took place on Day 0 of the UAE Government Annual Meetings, which was the first session of its sort to be incorporated into the three-day event.

The UAE Government & Business Dialogue for Action session linked government priorities with private-sector innovation, networks, and expertise. The initiative, which reflected the UAE’s long-standing dedication to partnership-based progress, aimed to jointly develop workable, time-bound recommendations to boost the UAE’s growth and competitiveness.

The conversation, which took place on the eve of the UAE Annual Government Meetings, gave the business sector a special space to interact with government officials in this national forum for the first time.

For in-depth discussions on four strategic themes—Investment Scalability, Trade Growth and Supply Chains, Frontier Technologies, and Impact Investment—the Dialogue brought together prominent individuals, including private-sector CEOs and senior government officials. Each of these topics is essential to guaranteeing inclusive and sustainable growth.

The Dialogue highlighted broad agreement between the public and commercial sectors on the importance of ongoing participation and shared responsibility in achieving national objectives.

With non-oil industries now accounting for more than three-quarters of the country’s GDP, the UAE’s economic resiliency provided a solid backdrop for the talks and demonstrated consistent progress toward the nation’s competitiveness and diversification goals under “We the UAE 2031.
