His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President, honoured ten exceptional individuals whose selfless efforts have made a lasting positive impact on the UAE community during the 12th edition of the Abu Dhabi Awards. The ceremony was held at Qasr Al Hosn in Abu Dhabi.
For the past 20 years, the Abu Dhabi Awards has served as a national initiative celebrating compassion, generosity, and community spirit. Inspired by the humanitarian legacy of the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Awards continue to thrive under the leadership of Sheikh Mohamed.
The Awards reaffirm the belief that every act of generosity, no matter how small, contributes to strengthening unity and social harmony. Since their inception, the Abu Dhabi Awards have recognised 110 individuals from 18 nationalities for their outstanding contributions in fields such as healthcare, education, volunteering, cultural preservation, environmental sustainability, and the empowerment of people of determination.
Coinciding with the Year of Community, this year’s edition continues to champion humanitarian values that reflect the UAE’s deep-rooted commitment to harmony and social responsibility. The honourees’ stories showcased during the event underscored that the spirit of giving transcends age, nationality, and profession, reminding everyone that compassion is a universal value capable of transforming lives.
