Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Police Academy (SPA) Council, chaired the Council’s meeting at the Academy’s headquarters in Sharjah.
During the meeting, Sheikh Sultan reaffirmed that the Academy continues to make steady progress toward establishing a comprehensive model in security education and training, grounded in quality, innovation, and practical excellence. He praised the Academy’s dedicated staff for their role in advancing academic, research, and training programmes that reflect Sharjah’s forward-looking vision.
These efforts, he noted, align with the directives of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to build a generation of qualified professionals who contribute to the emirate’s security and stability.
The Council reviewed several development projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing academic and training performance. Discussions included the outcomes of the counter-terrorism training programme conducted in collaboration with France’s RAID unit, which focused on advanced skills such as assessment, shooting, infiltration operations, liberation tactics, and crisis management.
