Etihad Airways has been named the world’s second-best airline in the 2025 AirHelp Score, earning an overall rating of 8.07 out of 10 and climbing nine places compared to last year. Etihad secured its position among the global top tier in AirHelp’s widely recognised airline ranking, which assesses carriers on three equally weighted pillars: on-time performance, customer opinion and claim processing. The 2025 results draw on flight data from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025, alongside feedback from more than 11,500 passengers across over 60 countries.
The Abu Dhabi-based carrier delivered this performance during a phase of strong expansion, growing its modern fleet to 120 aircraft, serving more than 100 destinations worldwide and transporting 19% more passengers year-on-year, while continuing to improve punctuality and guest satisfaction.
Chief Executive Officer Antonoaldo Neves described Etihad’s rise into the global top two as a powerful endorsement of the airline’s strategy, highlighting its focus on getting guests to their destinations on time, offering thoughtful, genuine hospitality at every stage of the journey, and supporting travellers when plans change.
