Together with his twins, Ella and Alexander, Hollywood actor George Clooney and his spouse, human rights attorney Amal Clooney, have acquired French citizenship, according to official documents released by the French government on Tuesday.
Last weekend, the Journal Officiel, which publishes French official orders, revealed the naturalization of the Kentucky-born star of the “Ocean’s” heist film series and his family. Human rights attorney Amal Clooney was naturalized using her maiden name, Amal Alamuddin, according to the government announcement. Additionally, it mentioned that Timothy is George Clooney’s middle name.
In 2021, the couple bought a French estate. Clooney identified their “farm in France as their primary house in an October interview with Esquire. The 64-year-old actor and his 47-year-old wife made this choice with their kids in mind. I was worried about raising our kids in L. A in the culture of Hollywood,” he said to the publication. I don’t want them to be on the lookout for photographers. They shouldn’t be compared to other people’s well-known children.
