The UAE is taking part in the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum 2026, being held in Davos, Switzerland, from 19 to 23 January, with a high-level delegation led by Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.
The delegation includes more than 100 ministers, senior government officials, and leaders from major private sector companies, reflecting the UAE’s continued and active engagement in the forum. The annual gathering serves as a key platform for strengthening international cooperation across major development sectors, particularly those linked to the global economy.
The UAE’s participation at Davos highlights its role as a global partner focused on shaping international cooperation frameworks and supporting a transition towards inclusive and long-term sustainable development.
The engagement also aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, which prioritizes economic development. The approach aims to enhance the UAE’s global competitiveness, strengthen the national economy, encourage knowledge exchange, and build strong international partnerships.
