Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms are Expected in the UAE Due to a New Round of Unpredictable Weather
From Thursday night (March 26) through Friday, a new round of unpredictable weather is expected to impact parts of the United Arab Emirates. Authorities predict rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds in phases throughout the nation. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reports that the most recent system will start to affect western regions late on Thursday and then progressively move eastward and inland.
This occurs during a multi-day period of unpredictable weather in the United Arab Emirates. Since early this week, reports of rain, thunderstorms, and reduced visibility have been received in several emirates.
According to the NCM, circumstances would begin over western areas, such as Al Dhafra, and then spread to Abu Dhabi on Friday night and early morning. The system is anticipated to extend further by Friday midday, encompassing eastern, northern, and Al Ain regions.
This movement adheres to a well-known pattern observed in recent days, when rain systems formed over western regions before progressively moving across the nation to the north and east. According to meteorologists, the country is currently experiencing multiple waves of atmospheric instability rather than a single weather event.
