Etihad Airways Starts Seasonal Flights to Dhaka, the Capital of Bangladesh

Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national airline, will start a seasonal flight to Dhaka, Bangladesh, on June 26, 2026. This will strengthen trade and transport links throughout the South Asia corridor and respond to strong and steady demand for travel and logistics between the UAE and Bangladesh.

The four-times-a-week service to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC) will improve travel between Abu Dhabi and Bangladesh. It will also help the airline’s global network keep expanding cargo flows and passenger demand. Abu Dhabi is a key gateway for trade between South Asia and international markets.

The service will be run by Etihad’s Boeing 777 planes, which will have 28 Business and 374 Economy seats. This will give the planes ample cargo space, which is important for commerce, business travel, and family travel.

Etihad is upgrading and growing its network in phases, and this service is part of that plan. The capacity is being deployed based on demand in important markets.Antonoaldo Neves, the CEO of Etihad, said, “Dhaka is a strategically important market with strong and steady demand in both the passenger and cargo segments.
