A Team From the UAE talks About strengthening Aviation Cooperation with China

Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), led a high-level delegation from the United Arab Emirates on a four-day official visit to the People’s Republic of China. The visit aimed to boost technical and commercial cooperation in the civil aviation sector and further advance the strategic partnership between the two nations.

The UAE delegation included key figures such as Badr Salim Al Olama, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), and Engr. Esmaeel Hassan Alblooshi, Director General of the Department of Civil Aviation, Ras Al Khaimah. Senior representatives from the GCAA, ADIO, EDGE Group, and the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Civil Aviation also took part in the visit.

Saif Al Suwaidi noted that civil aviation ties between the UAE and China continue to strengthen, supported by robust bilateral agreements. “We are working to deepen cooperation with our Chinese partners, particularly in areas such as aircraft manufacturing, technical licensing, and knowledge sharing,” he said. “This visit marks an important step toward forming new partnerships that align with both countries’ growth ambitions in the aviation sector.
