Abu Dhabi Will Have an Automated Robotaxi Fleet
Lumo, a UAE National Taxi firm that specializes in autonomous mobility, has announced the debut of a premium autonomous robotaxi fleet for Abu Dhabi in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz and Momenta, a global leader in autonomous driving AI.
Powered by Momenta’s L4 autonomous driving system and built on the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class, this cooperation debuts the industry’s first scalable premium robotaxi model based on a mass-production luxury platform. Commercial operations are expected to commence in Abu Dhabi next year, with further expansion into other foreign markets.
This collaboration between Mercedes, Momenta, and Lumo exemplifies the pinnacle of engineering and autonomous intelligence.
