Adnoc Gas and Germany’s SEFE Sign a Three-Year LNG supply Contract

With the help of Germany’s SEFE Securing Energy for Europe, ADNOC Gas Plc and its subsidiaries (collectively referred to as “ADNOC Gas” or the “Company”) (ADX symbol: ADNOCGAS / ISIN: AEE01195A234) announced today that they have signed a three-year LNG supply agreement for the delivery of 0.7 million tonnes of LNG, with deliveries starting this year.

The three-year arrangement, which is worth over $400 million (AED 1.5 billion), demonstrates ADNOC Gas’ ongoing entry into international markets. The company’s Das Island liquefaction plant, a vital asset in its portfolio, provides the LNG.

Since it began operations in 1977, Das Island’s 6 mtpa LNG facility has transported over 3,500 LNG cargoes globally, solidifying ADNOC Gas’ long-standing ties with key international energy partners.

This agreement is a major step in enhancing our long-standing partnership with SEFE and reaffirms ADNOC Gas’ role as a trustworthy and accountable global energy provider, dedicated to supporting Germany’s energy security,” stated Fatema Al Nuaimi, CEO of ADNOC Gas. It also demonstrates our progress in achieving our strategic goals and the confidence our stakeholders, partners, and investors have in our ability to generate long-term value in a changing energy environment.
