After Doha Attacks, the Qatari PM Called Netanyahu a “Narcissist” in a CNN Interview

Israel intensified its military operations in the Middle East on Tuesday, September 9, when it launched airstrikes on Hamas officials in Doha, Qatar. The European Union, the United Arab Emirates, and other Gulf nations strongly condemned the move.

Netanyahu issued a threat on Wednesday, saying that Qatar must either remove Hamas leaders or “bring them to justice. Because if you don’t, we will.” According to Reuters, he also charged Qatar with giving Hamas financial support and a safe harbor.

Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamas reiterated the ministry’s assertion that Netanyahu is well aware that the hosting of the Hamas office occurred as part of Qatar’s mediation efforts at the request of the United States and Israel.

The prime minister of Qatar shook his head when he told the interviewer that he had visited with one of the captives’ families the morning before the assaults. He claimed to be bringing a message from them, stating that the mediation Qatar was doing was their only chance to bring their family member home.

The Prime Minister of Qatar said that the Gulf nation does not tolerate “such a threat coming from someone like Netanyahu” in response to Netanyahu’s warning to bring Hamas and Qatar to justice after accusing them of harboring terrorists.
