After 35 Years Apart, the Girl and Father are Reunited by Sharjah Police

The Sharjah Police General Command’s Community Protection and Prevention Department successfully reunited a daughter with her father after more than 35 years apart, in keeping with its community-based mission and continuous efforts to foster human values and improve family cohesiveness. The Sharjah Police’s dedication to promoting family stability and tackling social challenges from a humanitarian perspective is demonstrated by its prompt humanitarian reaction.

According to Brigadier Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of the Community Protection and Prevention Department, this program is a prime example of the Sharjah Police’s social and humanitarian role in resolving family matters.

In keeping with the department’s goal of creating a cohesive society where its citizens have social and emotional security, it also shows the dedication to assisting varied groups, bringing families back together, and improving their stability, Al Naour continued.

The Community Protection and Prevention Department’s Director, Brigadier Ahmed Mohammed Al Marri, clarified that a girl who lived overseas made the appeal. She said she wanted to talk to her father, whom she hadn’t seen since birth because of family issues that had formed a schism between them that had lasted for almost 35 years.
