Abu Dhabi City Municipality conducted awareness and inspection campaigns to ensure compliance with health regulations at men’s barbershops and women’s beauty centers, both within and outside Abu Dhabi Island, as part of its commitment to safeguarding public health and safety and improving the quality of services offered to the community. The programs sought to increase facility owners’ and employees’ understanding of the significance of following health and public hygiene guidelines.
Municipal teams made thorough daily inspection visits to the targeted establishments during the campaigns to ensure that the necessary requirements were being met. In order to safeguard the community’s health and safety, the teams also made staff members more conscious of the significance of upholding public hygiene standards and following legal health regulations.
The effectiveness and quality of sterilisation procedures, the availability of sterilising equipment for instruments, and the appropriateness of materials used in public services were all guaranteed by municipal inspectors. Additionally, they trained employees on the dangers of utilising items like nail care and hair cutting tools without properly sterilising them.
