
Actress Bhumi Pednekar complimented UNDP India’s efforts to engage young people in furthering the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She described the project as a crucial step towards creating a more inclusive and sustainable future. Pednekar, UNDP India’s National Advocate for the SDGs, stated, “This effort is a game-changing event. Today’s youngsters are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and dedicated to creating a better society. Through this collaboration, we are establishing a platform for their vision and enthusiasm to achieve long-term action and impact.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) India has partnered with Collective Artists Network India Pvt. Ltd. to increase youth participation in accomplishing the Sustainable Development Goals.
Dr. Angela Lusigi, Resident Representative, UNDP India, spoke on the partnership, saying, “This partnership is a step forward in enabling young people to become active change-makers. Across India, young people are not only speaking up for change, but also taking the initiative. Whether they are pushing climate action, campaigning for gender parity, or establishing inclusive opportunities, their work is influencing the future. We can magnify these initiatives through the Collective Artists Network, ensuring that stories of youth leadership resound from metropolitan centres to rural communities.
