His Highness has approved a number of significant media initiatives in Sharjah Media City, Shams. These initiatives offer a cutting-edge paradigm for merging government agencies working under the Sharjah Media Council and mark an important advancement in the development of the emirate’s media infrastructure.
Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, supports and oversees these initiatives. Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, spearheads initiatives to unify and coordinate government media work and transform it into a more powerful and influential system.
The approval of the “Shams project package, according to Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, symbolizes the emirate’s objective of creating a cutting-edge media sector built on innovation, global alliances, and contemporary technologies. He stated that the establishment of “Shams Studios” will enhance the Emirate’s capacity to attract major production companies and content producers, while providing local talent with a professional platform to advance their careers and increase their visibility in the media sector.
