Danny DeVito Should Appear in “Wednesday” Season Three, According to Catherine Zeta-Jones

Hollywood star Catherine Zeta-Jones has shared her wish to see actor Danny DeVito join the cast of her hit Netflix series Wednesday. The 56-year-old actress, who plays Morticia Addams in the popular Addams Family spin-off, hopes DeVito could take on the role of Cousin It in the upcoming third season.

Speaking to Variety, Zeta-Jones said she was surprised her husband Michael Douglas’ longtime friend hadn’t already been cast in the series. “I don’t know how Danny DeVito hasn’t been cast already, she said. I was with him for our birthday in September and I told him, ‘Why isn’t Danny DeVito in Wednesday? Imagine him as Cousin It — that would be so cool!’”

The actress joked that the Matilda star might not be too thrilled with the idea, adding, “He’s going to kill me for that. He said, ‘Yeah, they’re going to cast me and put hair all over my face. Thanks for suggesting that, Catherine.

According to Female First UK, Wednesday has built a reputation for featuring major guest stars. Pop icon Lady Gaga recently joined the cast for the show’s second season, in a role that Zeta-Jones kept completely secret from her family. “I didn’t tell Michael or the kids. When the news broke, they couldn’t believe I hadn’t said a word,” she laughed.
