Dubai Crown Prince Hamdan Claims That Those Who do not Use AI Now would Fall Behind

AI will be the cornerstone of Dubai’s future, according to Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dubai Future Foundation (DFF). He pointed out that the city is not only prepared to welcome impending changes in many industries, but is also actively influencing them by utilising AI to enhance living standards and open new doors.

Speaking at the formal launch of the first-ever Dubai AI Week on Monday, Hamdan said Dubai has the capability, infrastructure, and vision to spearhead the next phase of global AI development. The Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) is responsible for organising the event, while DFF oversees the supervision.

He stated: “His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE’s Prime Minister and Vice President, had a vision for the future more than ten years ago, one in which we would have access to all government services.” We are making the next daring move towards that future now.”

AI is becoming more than simply a tool; it is the framework for governments that plan ahead, services that adjust, and cities that think. AI will influence Dubai’s future in this new era of advancement.

He underlined that the degree to which governments, organisations, and communities successfully incorporate AI into their fundamental plans—particularly in the areas of public services, education, and the economy will determine the course of the future.
