Dubai Taxi And Kabi Collaborate to Influence UAE Mobility in the Future

In a historic move to influence the direction of urban mobility in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai Taxi Company and its strategic partner Bolt have partnered with Kabi by Al Ghurair and Zed, the country’s in-house ride-hailing app, to improve the ride-hailing experience for both locals and tourists.

An important step in Dubai’s transition to more innovative, more accessible, and customer-focused transport solutions was taken when Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, and Badr Al Ghurair, CEO of Kabi, Al Ghurair Mobility, signed an agreement to formalize their partnership.

This deal will allow DTC’s 6,200 taxis and Kabi’s 3,680 taxis to be easily incorporated into the e-hailing platforms Zed and Bolt. Customers will benefit from increased availability, shorter wait times, and improved overall service efficiency as a result of this integration. New cabs will be automatically added to the platforms as both partners’ fleets continue to grow, guaranteeing that service capacity increases in tandem with demand.

Two of Dubai’s largest mobility companies have partnered, and both are committed to transforming the ride-hailing market. Under the Roads and Transport Authority’s overarching vision for smart mobility and sustainability, the effort closely reflects the Dubai Government’s goal of converting 80% of taxi journeys to e-hailing.
