As part of its 54th Eid Al Etihad (Union Day) celebrations, the Dibba Al Hisn neighborhood staged a series of events that proudly highlighted the significance of this occasion for all Emiratis and anybody who considers the UAE to be their home.
On November 29, the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, the Dibba Al Hisn Fishermen Association, and the Sharjah Fisheries Authority hosted a marine parade. The parade began at 3:00 pm and ended at 5:30 pm.
The marine parade featured traditional folkloric performances and chants that praised the UAE’s unity and strength, which is rooted in cultural variety. The boats proudly carried the UAE flag, and participants gathered under it in a celebratory mood that invoked the greatness of historical heritage while emphasizing the distinction of the present.
Attendees reinforced their devotion and sense of belonging while reviewing beloved memories of previous events, which become increasingly distinctive each year. Dibba Al Hisn’s lengthy history and seaside beauty make it a unique tourist destination.
