Emirates Adds 6 Weekly Flights Between Dubai and Cairo

Emirates has announced it will add six additional weekly flights on the Dubai-Cairo route starting from December 1, 2025, to meet rising demand during the peak winter season. Beginning February 1, 2026, this service will increase to a daily flight, complementing the existing schedule of four daily flights, reflecting the airline’s confidence in strong leisure and corporate travel between the UAE and Egypt.

The flights will be operated using Boeing 777 aircraft, with schedules optimized for seamless connections to key Asian destinations including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. Egypt has held a special place in Emirates’ network since the airline’s early days in 1986. Cairo currently hosts the highest number of Emirates A380 aircraft in the Middle East and North Africa outside Dubai. Once the fifth daily flight is introduced, Cairo will become the most served city in Emirates’ African network, underscoring the airline’s long-term commitment to the market.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, said the additional flights will enhance connectivity for passengers and cargo, boosting trade and tourism links between Egypt, the UAE, and beyond. The new frequency will also increase cargo capacity, offering about 300 tonnes weekly in the belly of the Boeing 777s.
