His Highness, President Emmanuel Macron, the president of the French Republic, was welcomed by Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday while on a business visit. His Highness welcomed the French President to the meeting, which took place at the Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi. The two leaders wished each other a happy New Year and continued success and prosperity for both countries and their peoples.
During the meeting, they talked about the strategic and historical ties between France and the United Arab Emirates. They also explored ways to deepen the relationship, particularly in investment, culture, economy, renewable energy, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and other areas aligned with the two nations’ shared goals for growth and prosperity.
Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and several other ministers and high-ranking officials attended the meeting.
