
At the most recent Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draw, which took place on Wednesday at Concourse C of Dubai International Airport, a Bahraini person was declared the new dollar millionaire.
A Bahraini man living in Manama, Bahrain named Mohamed Tareq Mohamed Akbar won $1 million in the Millennium Millionaire Series 504 with ticket number 3897, which he bought online on May 25, 2025.
Although he is now unreachable, Akbar, the fourth Bahraini national to win US$1 million in the Millennium Millionaire program since 1999, would undoubtedly be thrilled to hear about his newfound wealth.
Sinead El Sibai, SVP of Marketing, Mona Al Ali, and Ramesh Cidambi, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free, handled the draw on Wednesday. Mansoor Al Khaja, VP-Finance; Mohamad Al Khaja, VP-Retail Support; Thankachan Varghese, Senior Manager-Retail Support; Salim Ibrahim, Senior Manager-Retail Sales; Nasser Al Jasmi, Senior Manager-Exchange Bureau; Khalid Saleh, Senior Manager-Loss Prevention & Corporate Security; and Mohsen Saleh Rashed, Dubai Police’s first warrant officer.
On Wednesday, Dubai Duty Free officials held the Finest Surprise draw at Dubai International Airport’s Concourse C. The Finest Surprise draw for two high-end vehicles and motorcycles was held after the Millennium Millionaire draw.
