France And the UAE Talk About Regional Concerns and Ties

Sheikh Abdullah and Jean-Noël Barrot also exchanged opinions on the most recent events in the Middle East and the significant escalation that followed the obvious Iranian missile attacks that targeted the United Arab Emirates and other friendly and fraternal nations. They also talked about a number of regional and global issues of shared interest. They also discussed the significance of stepping up global efforts to promote peaceful resolution routes and improve security and stability both locally and globally.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed emphasized that the UAE-French relationship is an excellent example of a strategic partnership built on productive and constructive cooperation, pointing out that there are plenty of potential to further cooperation in the near future, particularly in crucial priority areas.

Minister of State Saeed Bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability Abdulla Balalaa, and UAE Ambassador to France Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani were present during the meeting.

Sheikh Abdullah recently spoke over the phone with a number of foreign ministers on the most recent events in the region and the ramifications of the obvious Iranian missile assaults against the United Arab Emirates and numerous other friendly countries.

Sheikh Abdullah confirmed the safety of all UAE citizens and visitors during the phone conversations with the ministries. The calls discussed the potential direct threat to world peace and security, the serious consequences of the present escalation on regional security and stability, and the potential effects on global economic stability and energy security.
