Fraudsters And a Bank in Abu Dhabi Were fined Dhs 35,000 for Exploiting a Woman’s Debit Card

According to a ruling by the Abu Dhabi Family, Civil and Administrative Cases Court, several people and a domestic financial organization will be held responsible for returning Dhs134,400 and paying a Dhs35,000 punishment. Additionally, these people will also be expelled from the nation.

This decision comes after a lady sued them, claiming she was harmed both materially and morally. The defendants had taken out the amount owed by misusing her personal bank card. Neither the sharing of her data nor the access to unidentified links had made this possible. Instead, it had been brought on by flaws in the bank’s security measures.

The plaintiff filed a lawsuit against the defendants as well as the bank that supplied the card. The plaintiff asked the court to compel the defendants to reimburse her Dhs134,400 in addition to Dhs285,000 for moral and material harm. Neither the sharing of her information nor the access to unidentified linkages had made this possible. Instead, it was brought on by flaws in the bank’s security measures. Additionally, the plaintiff requested that the court issue an order requiring the defendants to reimburse all costs, fees, and legal expenses.
