Georgina Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo Have Been Dating for Eight Years, and She Has a Huge Ring to Prove it
After dating Georgina Rodriguez for eight years, the 40-year-old Portuguese soccer player gets engaged to her. The bride-to-be shared a picture of her hand resting on Ronaldo’s, displaying her dazzling ring, on Instagram on Monday, August 11, announcing the good news.
The couple, who initially announced their relationship in early 2017, are parents to five children: twins Eva Maria and Mateo, whom are eight years old; Alana, who is seven years old; Bella, who is three years old; and Cristiano Jr., who is fifteen years old and was born to Ronaldo in a prior relationship.
The death of Bella’s newborn twin brother, Ángel, was earlier disclosed by him and Rodriguez in April 2022. In January 2017, Ronaldo and Rodriguez, both 31 years old, had their first public appearance together at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich. In May of the same year, they became Instagram official.
Before adopting daughter Alana on November 12, 2017, the couple announced the birth of their first set of twins via surrogacy in June 2017. Prior to Ángel’s untimely death in 2022, the couple frequented engagement rumors, took family vacations, and welcomed their three youngest children.
Ronaldo’s first dates with the then-Gucci store worker were described by the pair in Rodriguez’s Netflix series, I Am Georgina. The English audio translation at the time stated that Ronaldo found her to be a “very interesting girl, so much more mature for her age.
