The Jumeirah Beach 1 development project, one of Dubai Municipality’s flagship projects aimed at improving public beach infrastructure and elevating waterfront experiences throughout the emirate, was reviewed by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.
Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group; Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti, Secretary-General of The Executive Council of Dubai.
Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, the Director-General of Dubai Municipality, updated Sheikh Hamdan on the project’s most recent advances during the visit. The project has a completion rate of over 95%.
The 1,400-meter redevelopment is a complete overhaul of the beach’s infrastructure, amenities, and design with the goal of boosting wellbeing, improving quality of life, and solidifying Dubai’s standing as a top beach travel destination worldwide.
