In 2025, Non-Oil Trade Between the UAE and Kuwait Reached Dhs54.5 Billion, a 9.1% Increase
Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the Minister of Foreign commerce, revealed that commerce between the UAE and Kuwait that doesn’t involve oil reached Dhs54.5 billion ($14.8 billion) in 2025. This was a 9.1% increase from 2024.
He went on to say that by the end of 2024, investments between the two countries would be worth more than $10 billion, with more than 60% of it coming from the UAE to Kuwait. His comments were made at the UAE-Kuwait Economic Forum, which took place today in Dubai as part of the “UAE & Kuwait: Brothers Forever” week, which runs until February 4 across the country. The goal of the forum is to strengthen trade, investment, and economic relationships between the two countries and their people, and to show how deep their long-standing ties are.
Al Zeyoudi stated that the forum is an important place to look into investment opportunities, increase trade in crucial areas, talk about economic changes, and find new ways for the two countries to work together. People talked on how to boost trade growth, help entrepreneurs, show off collaborative success stories, and move forward with economic ties that will help long-term progress.
