The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, met with UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Wednesday in Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi. The two leaders looked at ways to further their bilateral cooperation, particularly in investment, infrastructure, renewable energy, sustainability, and the economy. To further their common development goals, the talks were held within the framework of the two countries’ strategic alliance and all-encompassing economic collaboration.
The Chairman of the Presidential Court, Vice President, and Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, attended the meeting. Additionally, Sheikh Mohamed and Subianto discussed several pertinent regional and global topics.
They restated their nations’ steadfast commitment to promoting peace and stability and resolving disputes amicably in order to promote global development and prosperity. They also reaffirmed their mutual dedication to advancing and significantly improving UAE- Indonesia relations for the benefit of both countries’ citizens. Several agreements and memoranda of understanding between the UAE and Indonesia were announced to the two presidents during Subianto’s visit.
The economic, investment, environmental, food security, renewable energy, and sustainability sectors were all discussed, along with agreements on cooperation in the areas of security and Islamic affairs, among other places.
