More Than 114,000 Emiratis Work in the Private Sector Today

The Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council is commemorating the start of the NAFIS program and its third anniversary. Since its inception in September 2021, the initiative has accomplished incredible strides, exceeding its goals by a substantial margin in the quantity of Emiratis employed in the private sector.

Over 114,000 Emiratis work in the banking and private sectors at the moment; over 81,000 of them were hired following the debut of “Nafis” and were still employed as of the end of the second quarter of this year.

In the last thirty months, the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council has formed a number of positive alliances that have helped over twenty-one thousand private companies hire Emirati workers.

On this particular occasion, the UAE leadership emphasised its commitment to citizen empowerment, acknowledging citizens as the nation’s most valuable resource. Mohammad Al Gergawi is the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, a member of the board of directors, and the chairman of the executive committee of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council.

He emphasised that boosting the nation’s competitiveness both domestically and abroad depends on the leadership’s ongoing directives to develop Emirati talent and equip them to meet future challenges.
