Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan declared that the United Arab Emirates will donate $1.2 billion to Gaza via the “Board of Peace.” Through a recently supported initiative known as the “Board of Peace,” the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates has declared a significant humanitarian contribution of $1.2 billion to aid the people of Gaza.
According to UAE officials, in order to guarantee prompt delivery and transparency, the funds would be distributed through coordinated processes. In addition to meeting immediate needs, the program seeks to establish the framework for stability and recovery over the long run.
The UAE’s participation, the Deputy Prime Minister underlined, is consistent with its larger diplomatic initiatives to support regional stability and de-escalation. In collaboration with regional and global partners, the “Board of Peace” framework aims to enable coordinated humanitarian and reconstruction aid. The pledge underlines the UAE’s declared commitment to peacebuilding and reconstruction efforts and emphasises its ongoing position as a significant regional humanitarian actor.
