The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) successfully and in record time finished packing more than 10 million meals of food aid to be sent to the people of Gaza aboard the Mohammed Bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship, per the orders of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Sheikh Mohammed confirmed that the United Arab Emirates, led by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was one of the first countries to deliver aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, an initiative started on the President’s orders.
I am proud of our community’s enthusiastic response and of the efforts of over 20,000 volunteers,” said Sheikh Mohammed. This is what the UAE people are all about. This is how Zayed’s sons and daughters truly feel. It is a powerful illustration of how much the UAE’s citizens love Palestine and its people. We thank each and every participant.
