Rumours that the United Arab Emirates were giving lifelong Golden Visas to specific countries have been refuted by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) and various local and international media outlets and websites.
ICP confirmed that official laws, legislation, and ministerial decisions fully describe the categories, requirements, and regulations of the Golden Visa. The Authority’s website or smart application has the official information for those who are interested.
It emphasised that no internal or external consulting firm is recognised as an approved party in the application process, and that all Golden Visa applications are processed exclusively through official government channels within the United Arab Emirates.
According to news reports the Authority recently saw from a consulting firm located outside, lifelong Golden Visas might be obtained for all categories from outside the United Arab Emirates through commercial or consulting organisations under streamlined terms. These statements were made without consulting the appropriate UAE authorities and without any legal foundation.
