Discussions about Karisma Kapoor and her children, Kiaan and Samaira, and their share of Sunjay Kapur’s substantial fortune have been ongoing since the businessman and actress’s sudden passing.
According to the family’s close sources, Karisma has no interest in or involvement in her ex-husband’s property affairs, effectively correcting the record. A source close to the family has now denied any rumors that Karisma is claiming her portion of Sunjay’s inheritance, despite speculation to the contrary.
The sources further asserted that Karisma had no affiliation with any particular property. The sources further stated that she has no involvement whatsoever in any inheritance or property-related issues.
According to their claims, Karisma’s children are the legitimate heirs of the deceased businessman’s assets and would be compensated accordingly. Karisma’s current focus is solely on her children’s welfare, it is further stated.
Karisma and Sunjay were married in a lavish wedding in 2003, for those who are unaware. Things did not work out, though, and in 2014 the couple voluntarily filed for divorce. In 2016, they finalized their divorce. Karisma brought charges of domestic abuse against Sunjay and his mother, Rani Kapur, in 2016. The couple has a boy named Kiaan and a daughter named Samaira.
