Seven Buildings in Dubai Worth Dhs110 Million are Donated to Charity by an Emirati Billionaire

This year, one of the biggest real estate endowments was declared by the Endowments and Minors’ Trust Foundation in Dubai (Awqaf Dubai). The estimated Dhs110 million worth of seven properties in Dubai were donated by businessman Hamad Bin Ahmed Bin Salem Al Hajri to be used in ongoing community development and charity projects.

He clarified that the money raised would be used to fund other kinds of philanthropic contributions, which would be managed by the Minors’ Trust and supervised by the Awqaf Foundation. This would guarantee that future generations would continue to benefit from the initiative’s benevolent influence.

The late founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, taught the ideals of compassion and philanthropy, which the UAE’s leaders carried on by making humanitarian work a fundamental aspect of the country’s identity, as Al Hajri noted.

He emphasized that the underlying principles of Emirati society—giving, solidarity, and social responsibility—are reflected in this generosity. Additionally, it strengthens the UAE’s standing as a global leader in sustainable humanitarian aid.

The proposal was commended by Ali Al Mutawa, Secretary-General of the Endowments and Minors’ Trust Foundation in Dubai (Awqaf Dubai), who emphasized that it will finance community service, education, healthcare, and humanitarian programs.
