In collaboration with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority (SAIF Zone) and the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) have conducted a specialized training.

The workshop’s goal was to familiarize investors and companies doing business in the two free zones with the steps involved in signing up for Adnoc’s authorized supplier database. The occasion was a part of the free zones’ continuous endeavors to promote the corporate sector and fortify strategic alliances.

Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of HFZA and SAIF Zone, Mubarak Al Mehairbi, Senior Vice President, Group Administration & Community Management Function at Adnoc, several department managers, authorities, and staff from both sides, as well as a number of investors, entrepreneurs, and representatives of domestic and foreign energy-focused businesses, attended the workshop.

In order to increase organizations’ understanding of Adnoc’s supplier registration obligations, the meeting covered important subjects. The commercial licensing processes and regulatory criteria that apply in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, including the steps required to begin operations in the energy industry, were described by Adnoc, one of the top energy corporations.
